A Light Corner Apartment with Yellow Color Accents
On a high location with views of the water and the large park in Stockholm stands a 1940s apartment building housing this light-filled apartment. The corner apartment was thoughtfully renovated, preserving original 1940s elements and creating a comfortable contemporary home.
The apartment is decorated in a harmonious color palette paired with fine original details such as herringbone parquet, marble floors, built-in wardrobes/cabinets, windows, and marble window sills.

The light living room has a pentagonal shape with a large picture window in the angled wall.
The room has white walls and an original herringbone parquet, and the tiny niche next to the sofa is fitted with a nice built-in bookcase with oak shelves.Â
The white walls are paired with vibrant color accents in the decor, from the pale yellow curtains to pink and red tones in the cushions.
A sliding door separates the living room from the smaller bedroom (that can also be accessed via the hall)
The balcony offers a wonderful view of Stockholm thanks to the apartment’s elevated position.
The kitchen is located in a semi-open floor plan with the living room. The classic galley kitchen features gray cabinets and small white backsplash tiles.
A charming dining area is situated under the window, and with the yellow walls and yellow curtains it’s a sunny spot to start your day.
The pink hallway is fitted with original floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes on either side.
The master bedroom is painted in a calm sage green shade and fitted with a new herringbone parquet floor, mirroring the original floor in the living room.
The smaller bedroom lies between the master bedroom and the living room. The walls are painted in a light pearl gray shade, and on the floor lies an original herringbone parquet floor.
