A Pink Ground Floor Studio Apartment with a Large Kitchen
This pink studio apartment lies in a pretty early 20th-century apartment building in Gothenburg. The 37 square meter apartment features many original elements, like mirrored doors, serving cabinets, and moldings, that have been carefully renovated in the last couple of years, giving the small home a charming, historic vibe.
The apartment is divided into two rooms; a combined living room and bedroom and the spacious kitchen space with gorgeous views of the green communal courtyard.

The combined living room and bedroom is a charming space painted in ‘Rosewood’ from Beckers, which is paired with a natural wooden floor.
Living in a studio apartment means you have to be clever when it comes to storage. In this studio, the owner added a raised bed made from simple IKEA cabinets with closed and open cabinets.
Moving through a narrow hall, you enter the spacious kitchen on the other side of the apartment.
In the kitchen, original pantry cabinets are paired with newer additions in a similar style. The gray cabinets are paired with white tiles, tongue and groove paneling, a shelf, and glass-fronted cupboards.
From the kitchen window, you have a wonderful view of the green courtyard. It is the perfect spot for a dining table, and with the windows open, it feels like you’re sitting outside.
In deep window niches are large, barred windows with mouth-blown glass that allow the sunlight to play on the walls.
The small hallway features an open built-in wardrobe and it is decorated in a subtle blue and beige wallpaper in an old Swedish design.
