Today, I want to share this beautiful Tulum Airbnb home that has also been designed by Terreo Studio. The home is located in the La Veleta area of Tulum, which is a relaxed area, perfect for a recharging holiday in the sun.

Casa Mye is a two-bedroom home located on the ground floor of an artistic, residential complex. As with every home that is designed by Terreo Studio, it has beautiful interiors with custom-made furniture, natural materials, decorative and storage niches, and a beautiful outdoor space with a swimming pool.

The house has an open-plan living room and kitchen with access to the private courtyard garden. The living room is small, but it has a comfortable custom built-in sofa with a round coffee table. And when you open the doors leading to the garden, you include the outdoors with the living area.

The large rustic wooden mirror makes the room feel larger and brighter. On the floor lies a jute rug to create a natural look.

From the living room, you enter the kitchen and dining area. This room also has a built-in bench, just like the sitting room. And the cushions in the same blue shade create a harmonious natural look.

The home features some wonderful bold, colorful rooms where they didn’t just paint the walls, but the ceilings also get a colorful treatment with either wallpaper or paint. The love for color extends to the outdoors. But the pink exterior, colorful tilework, and yellow front door really blends in well with the desert surroundings.

Let’s start the home tour with a bold, colorful room. The den is painted in a deep red shade called “Arabian Red” by Dunn-Edwards. For a warm layered look, they paired this red tone with more earthy red shades in the furniture and decor as well as ochre yellow tones.

Moving on to the grand kitchen, dining, and living space. The color scheme for this room is inspired by the large copper lamp above the dining table. Warm color accents continue in the furniture, the feature wall painted in “Warm Hearth” by Dunn-Edwards, and the exposed wooden beams.

The open-plan living space features a terrazzo built-in sofa with a planter, a vintage 1970s fireplace, and a custom cobblestone coffee table.

The kitchen is designed in a classic finca style with concrete worktops and reclaimed wood.

The conservatory is the perfect place to sit back and relax with a cup of tea and a good book. The walls are painted in a very subtle green shade, and all the plants add a lively natural touch.

The master bedroom is inspired by the sunset. The walls and ceiling are painted in “Deserted Path” by Dunn Edwards.

The focal point in this room is the big round window which is flanked by custom-made bookshelves. The window is turned into a window seat to make the most of the room’s wonderful view.

The master ensuite has its own private patio with an outdoor copper bath.

The pink bedroom is inspired by Luis Barragan. It has pink St. Frank wallpaper on the ceiling and Guatemalan curtains and blankets.

The apartment is designed by Eduardo Valdes and Alexander Landsberg of Terreo Studio who created a serene haven that can now be rented as an Airbnb rental in one of the most popular cities in Mexico.

The apartment has one bedroom, but in the living room they created a combined living room and bedroom so it has two double beds. The design of this living space is very clever by raising one area to create a sunken living room with a built in sofa that has views of the charming outdoor space.

When you live in a one-room apartment this Tulum home is a perfect source of inspiration as to how to design your home. The designers of this home managed to create a shared living room and bedroom space that is stylish and functional.

Beside the impeccable interior design, the main reason why this room is such a succes is that they have managed to create two clear zones: a living room and a bedroom zone.

There are no barriers like a wall, curtain, or bookcase to separate the two parts. Instead, they raised one area of the space to create a sunken sitting room with a built-in sofa for a clean look.

A wardrobe is hidden in a niche beside the bed. A beige curtain is used to hide the wardrobe from view while also adding some texture and softness to the space.

What I love about this bedroom space are the niches. The arched niches are a nod to the apartment complex that features a lot of arches and they add a great architectural feature to the interior of the apartment.

But they are also super handy to provide some storage space or to use as a display shelf.

A small kitchen is fitted on the other side of the room. The wooden cabinets add a warm tone to the room. Black is the accent color in this apartment, you can see it in the light fixtures, the kitchen worktop, and in the bathroom fittings.

This apartment is made for indoor/outdoor living. From the living room and the bedroom, there is access to the private secluded outdoor space with a small swimming pool.

From your bed straight into the pool, that is what a holiday is supposed to be like.
